(Please make sure to complete the google form that was attached to your confirmation email.

Your appointment will take approximately 2 hours.

48 Hours Before Your Appointment

Please avoid the following for 48 hours prior to your treatment:

• Alcohol

• Sun exposure or tanning

• Retinol or Retin A products

• Glycolic acid or active exfoliating products

• Chemical peels or strong skincare treatments near the treatment area

These precautions help reduce skin sensitivity and support better pigment retention.

Previous Permanent Makeup

If you have previous permanent makeup or tattooing that requires correction, the price may vary depending on the amount of correction needed.

Annual Color Refresh

1 Year Touch Up

Powder Brows: €250

Nano Brows: €300

After 2 years the treatment returns to the full original price.

Immediately After Your Treatment

Your eyebrows will appear darker and more defined immediately after the procedure. This is completely normal.

As the skin heals, the color will soften and lighten.

You may experience mild tightness, dryness, or light flaking during the first week.

Do not touch, scratch, pick, or peel the treated area.

First 24 Hours

Your eyebrows must stay completely dry for the first 24 hours.

Avoid:

• Water on the brows

• Heavy sweating

• Steam, saunas, or hot baths

• Swimming

• Direct sun exposure

Washing Instructions (After 24 Hours)

After the first 24 hours it is important to gently cleanse the eyebrows to prevent bacteria buildup.

Wash the brows every other day for 10 days unless instructed otherwise by your artist.

Follow these steps:

1. Use warm water with a very small amount of the cleanser provided by Shannon.

2. Gently cleanse the eyebrows using very little water and a small amount of soap.

3. Pat the area dry with a clean towel or tissue.

4. Apply a very light layer of the vitamin ointment provided using a cotton swab.

Only a thin layer of ointment is needed.

If You Do Not Have Your Aftercare Products

If you do not have the products provided, you may substitute with:

• A gentle baby shampoo or baby soap

• Aquaphor

• Vaseline

Always apply only a very light layer.

During the Healing Period

To protect the pigment and ensure proper healing, avoid:

• Heavy sweating

• Swimming with your head underwater

• Saunas, hot baths, or Jacuzzis

• Sun tanning or tanning beds

• Direct UV exposure

• Chemical peels or laser treatments

• Skincare products containing Retin A or Glycolic Acid

Do not apply makeup directly on the treated area during healing.

Water & Swimming

Eyebrows should not be submerged in water while healing.

If you will be swimming or going underwater, wear large protective goggles that fully cover both the eyes and eyebrows.

Avoid letting shower water run directly over the brows.

Healing

Healing varies depending on your skin type and natural skin regeneration.

During healing:

• The color may appear darker initially

• The pigment will soften and lighten as the skin heals

• Light flaking may occur during the first week

A second appointment is only necessary if adjustments are needed.

For example:

• If the color needs to be slightly darker

• If the shape needs to be adjusted

• If an area needs to be slightly thicker or longer

Many clients, especially with powder brows, heal beautifully and may not require any additional work.

Nano brows are more likely to require a second session due to the delicate hair stroke technique.

Long Term Care

To maintain beautiful results:

• Apply SPF 30 to 50 to your eyebrows when exposed to sunlight

• Avoid excessive sun exposure during healing

Proper care helps preserve the pigment and extend the life of your permanent makeup.

LIPS

Preparing your lips properly helps reduce bleeding and improves pigment retention.

48 Hours Before Your Appointment

Please avoid the following for 48 hours prior to your treatment:

• Alcohol

• Caffeine (coffee or tea)

• Aspirin or ibuprofen

• Fish oil supplements

• Niacin

• Vitamin E

These can thin the blood and may cause increased bleeding during the procedure.

Lip Preparation

Before your appointment:

• Gently exfoliate your lips

• Keep your lips well hydrated with lip balm or lip treatment

Healthy, hydrated lips help achieve smoother pigment results.

Avoid using oils directly on the lips before your appointment, as they may reduce pigment retention.

Immediately After Your Treatment

Your lips will appear brighter and more vibrant immediately after the procedure. This is normal.

The color will soften during healing and may lighten 50% to 70% depending on:

• Your natural lip color

• The pigment chosen

• Your aftercare routine

Mild swelling may occur and typically lasts about one day.

If needed, you may apply a cold compress to reduce swelling.

First 24 Hours

For the first 24 hours:

• Avoid hot foods and beverages

• Avoid brushing your teeth directly on the lips

• Use mouthwash instead if needed

This helps protect the pigment in the center of the lips during the early healing stage.

Lip Care During Healing

Lips may feel sensitive, dry, or slightly tight for a few days.

During the healing process:

• Apply the ointment provided by your artist as instructed

• Aquaphor may also be used if needed

• Apply a slightly thicker layer before bedtime

Always apply lip treatment using a clean cotton swab or disposable applicator.

Do not touch your lips with your fingers.

Eating & Drinking

For the first 5 days:

• Drink through a straw when possible

• Avoid spicy or salty foods

These can irritate the lips during healing.

Flaking & Healing

Light flaking may occur within a few days.

This is normal.

Do not:

• Pick

• Peel

• Scratch

• Rub the lips

Removing flakes before they are ready can cause pigment loss, bleeding, and delayed healing.

Allow the lips to heal naturally.

Makeup & Products

While healing:

• Do not apply lipstick or cosmetics to the lips

• Avoid applying any topical products other than the recommended ointment

Healing Timeline

Initial healing takes about 7 to 10 days, while full color development occurs over 6 to 8 weeks.

If you plan to have lip filler, it should be done:

• At least 2 weeks after your lip blush procedure

• Wait 4 weeks before any lip blush touch up

COLD SORES (Herpes Simplex)

If you are prone to cold sores or fever blisters, lip blush treatment can trigger an outbreak.

To prevent this, we recommend starting an antiviral medication such as Valtrex, Acyclovir, or a similar prescription before your appointment.

Please consult with your doctor about beginning the medication 1–2 days before your treatment and continuing for a few days after the procedure.

Even if you have not had a cold sore in many years, the procedure may still trigger one.

If you currently have an active cold sore or feel one developing, your appointment will need to be rescheduled until the lips are fully healed.

This precaution helps protect your healing results and prevents pigment loss in the affected area.
